I have an Arris DG860 from Time Warner but they won't give me access to it since I'm only leasing it. I've decided to buy my own so I can manage it myself from now on. Is there a better modem than this one?
One issue I've found with the Arris DG860 is that when one of my devices is not 802.11n then the modem changes to suit the lesser device and it slows down the speed for all devices. Is there a modem that doesn't do this or is this just the nature of cable modems these days?
