Want to adjust MP3 files' volume level.

Hi everybody,

Can someone recommend me a good software that can enable me to adjust the mp3 files that I have so that they will all play at the same volume.

The iTune that came with my iPod Mini does possess such a feature but I found it's still not good enough. There's still noticeable difference in the sound volume/level.

BTW, the problem mp3 files in question were voice recordings originally in tape format (cassette to be exact) which I have converted to mp3 format.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

but it does only one file at once.....no batch processing as far as I remember

If you use iTunes to listen to music, you can do it in there too. Just click "Get Info" on the file, and then you can rearrange the volume on one of the settings in there. Just look around, you'll find it.
