Virus Protection and Firewall

I currently have Virus Protection software installed on my computer and was wondering if I need a Firewall as well. I know Windows has a Firewall built in and I don't want any software to conflict each other, thanks.

Basic Windows Firewall works well if you're not into heavy security and if you don't really visit any harmful/suspicious sites. It's also cool if you not a big downloader, just play games or browse the net and stuff like that. I don't see any issues using it, especially if you're not the paranoid type.

Ok thanks, I was pretty much wondering if the Virus protection would be enough and if having both a virus protection and a firewall would cause any conflicts.

Normally having an anti-virus and a firewall would not cause any conflicts unless your anti-virus comes with an anti-virus or vice versa. Having 2 firewalls or anti-virus could cause conflicts though.

I been using comodo for a while now and works great, haven't really tested any others though.
