I don't what he means, because you can't flash a 9700 Pro into a 9800XT

To OC a GFX card you usually use a utility like Powerstrip to steadily increase the clock speeds of the GPU and the video memory. After each increment that you increase the speeds you should play a GFX intensive game or benchmarking program to push the card and make sure it is stable..... If you see any artifacts or if the game fails you have gone too far and need to back down the speeds abit till it is stable I would think that you could get a 9700 Pro up to as fast as a 9800 Pro with OCing

Yeah i wansnt talking about flashing a 9700 pro to a 9800 XT i was talking about the 9800 non pro i sugested
