It lasted a very long time without a crash, but yet again, it has crashed. I even had trouble getting back onto the PC as it would crash seconds after log on. Managed to change the resolution down again and now its fine.
Had a look at the events viewer and I don't know what i'm looking for here. The most occurring event ID's over the time period I was having the crashes are:
10016
1101
6008
