User account deletion causes Blue Screen

Running XP Home SP3

Each time I use Control Panel > User Accounts > Change an Account > Delete the Account a Blue Screen appears and I have to restart.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried using the DOS prompt?
to add a user:
net user /add
to remove a user:
net user /remove

May need to try an do a repair install on the OS if there is something corrupt in the system files causing this issue. Sucks because you'll have to reapply any updates, but it may resolve the issue.

DOS prompt did not work. I will consider OS repair.

May also want to look into the reason for the BSOD, we have a full thread in the windows section for this very reason. While it woudl be weird that a driver or software install is causing this issue, it is a possiblity and the stop error code would narrow it down for you.
