Unlocking from EE on a Samsung Note

Hi guys,

I was looking for a little bit of advice. I purchased a second hand Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The device has been locked to EE (I am with Three) and I have been advised by EE that it is unable to be unlocked until the device is six months old.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you put your Three SIM in it does it ask for a SIM network unlock PIN? If it does then you will have to purchase an unlock code. If not then it may be like the ZTE Blade Z Max I unlocked that required it to be unlocked via the pre-installed unlock app. Again you will have to purchase the network unlock but this type will cost more.

A quick internet search will show you quite a few services that you can use. For what it is worth I used UnlockBase for mine.
