Howzit everyone. i was wondering what is one of the best unix/linux OS available today. i have a 300 gig hard drive with vista running on it currently and i got 200 gigs free so i was thinking about making another 50 gig partition and installing unix or linux on it but im not to sure what is the best one now a days. i have no experience with unix or linux so any advice would be helpful. thanks!

This is the distro I use and recommend, Why because it works right out of the box. No need to configure Everything, everything just works. It also comes as a 1 CD install that is a live CD that you can install later if you wish.
