I went over to my uncle and aunt's house today to try to fix their PC, which I guess they haven't used for like 3 months due to it being way slow.

So I went through Osiris removal guide, and the computer runs a lot lot better, I can do whatever I want to without any pop ups or errors. Vundo, Trojan Remover, and Smit all came up empty with finding any errors. I think it was just a combination of many stupid games for the kids like Toy Story, SpongeBob . . .which were huge + only having 512MB of RAM ~ not very fast computer. But here is the hijackthis log, which I'm posting just to make sure there isn't something deeper in the computer that the removal guide could have missed. I also have the smit and vundo logs if needed.

Seems pretty clean to me, i'll wait for techpro to comment on the log.

but you just need to remove the following line from HighjackThis

as for these files lines in the log, they could probably be removed aswell. But i'd wait for TechPro to post once again to give a better opinion :)

That entry with the no name; no file is a Yahoo Service Plugin. So if they use Yahoo or its Toolbar might want to leave it there. Or you can remove it.
 
There's no need to look deeper with scanner tools. The Hijackthis Log shows up clean so we're just going to do our finishing up tasks with a few scans from extra tools to make sure. Please note to do all of these in order; it is crucial that you do the first two steps before moving onto the scans.

Step1

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
This program is for XP and Windows 2000 only

  • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
    Under Main choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browser
  • Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
    NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browser
  • Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
    NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu.

Step2

To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has administrator access because you will be able to see the System Restore tab. If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.

(Windows XP)
1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Step3

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.

Step4

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Click on Accept

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
    • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    • Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
    • Scan Options:
    • Scan Archives
      Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan:
    • Select My Computer
  • This will program will start and scan your system.
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
  • Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
    • Now click on the Save as Text button:
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information in your next post.

Both scans came up clean. I don't have the logs, but my uncle assured me both came up clean. I'm going to his house later, so I'll verify the logs to make sure.
