just wondering. LOL. well, splicing is physically slicing the rubber surround for the wires to expose the metal wires inside, i would not reccomend this to you right now. the adapters are cheap, like not even 5 bucks. all you gotta do is take a look at your inputs on your tv and your comp and see what fits. or go to best buy and explain what you are trying to do to someone who works in the audio section and he will gladly show you exactly what adapter to get. you may need one adapter and some rca cable to make it fit, in case the adapter only has female plugs instead of male.
