The Copenhagen Concept – The Next User Interface for Windows 8?

Speculation about Windows8 is largely built from short interviews from Microsoft employees. There have been interviews with Robert Morgan and Anders Vindberg of Microsoft. They say little but give some hints about what is to come.
Will Windows 8 be released in 2012 or 2011? Will it be 128 bit, or 64 bit? Will it be the end of the 32 bit OS, like XP. Will Midori be distributed, or will it be the beginning of a cloud?
The user interface, is probably going to be a big part of the next change in the OS. Consider how much Windows7 was designed to look like the Mac interface, with its jump lists, and taskbar modification and the like.

You do realize that this IS the normal cycle for Windows right? A new OS every 2-3 years? The time between XP and Vista was NOT supposed to happen.

Plus umm where does it say you MUST buy Windows 7 or Windows 8 when it comes out? You buy it if you want it.

Yes. Just what is the point.....

With windows Me release, MS announced Windows Xp.
With windows Xp release, MS announced Windows Vista.
With Windows Vista release, MS Announced Windows 7

This is normal. Vista was suppose to come out in 2002-3. Remember how we had Office 2003? It was suppose to be released then. However that was when Win Xp had that big problem where virus where hittig the OS alot. Like from 2002 to about 2004, Window Xp was getting hammered alot with virus. Therefore the Miscrosoft had to put thier energy towards fixing that vunarbility. Then they had to focus on Server 2003 R2. Then after that, they were back on working on Vista.

The life span of Xp should of not been that long. We really should be onto WIndows 8 now.
