Super slow utorrent??

I installed utorrent and i get trash dload speeds. Like 2-15k when there is like 100 available seeds ect. I thought this was supposed to be fast? What am I doing wrong?

So I think I need to open a port. Problem is im using a neighbour wireless for now until I get sympatico set up and not sure the type of router. Anyway around this?

Ok im on my desktop now ...im connected thew roger s and the 40000 somthing port is open. Still downloading at only 5k per second :-(
