Starcraft II Beta

Just a bunch of random screen shots from in game. Playing at maximum settings at around 60FPS (not sure if Vsync is on) on 1920x1080

Also.. After uploading all of these, I have a new found love for Photobucket

Right now I'm sitting on 4:0 W:L ratio

I've played both Protoss and Terran.. Once again, I have to say my favorite is Protoss.. I'll play Zerg more tomorrow. I had a lot of fun with them on Starcraft: Brood War. All in all, so far a great game! Very diversified (unlike another RTS I'm currently playing: CnC4). More add ons, more abilities, etc, etc.

Also, another weird thing that is... well, weird: You log in and have a normal name (iFargle) and an identifier tag (in the last screen shot, you see a .you at the end of my name), so my "name" on here is iFargle.you. That's to identify if anyone else has the same name, they (most likely.. I wonder what would happen if they did.. would they let them?) would not have the same identifier tag. If there's another iFargle in the game, I'd be seen as iFargle.you and the other iFargle would be seen with is or her identifier tag at the end of the name.

I like the new Battle.net interface. Simplistic and easy to get used to. Getting into a game is just as painless.

How did you get into the demo program. I have been patiently waiting for the demo and as of yet have been unable to find one. No listing of a demo on starcarft2.com (the official site)

Looks good. I have been watching all the matches of battle report.

Ok I went to battle.net and created an account then signed up for Beta testing. If I get lucky and they like my specs I may get in on the party.

lol the name thing is because blizzard is cocky and expects like 20 million people to play so they don't want any name confusions

but yea, it's a nice looking game...might even hit retail in the next 5 years

It looks brilliant, yet so obviously starcraft.

Just like command and conquer 4 is so obviously command and conquer..uhm..yeh.. perhaps not.


I would love to get into the beta, been signed up for the Opt-in for as long as i can remember.

It does feel a lot like the original.. Stuff dies REALLY fast, though. But I love it so far! I'm 6:3.. I WOULD be 6:1, but my brother wanted to play... oh well
