Standby (by its own)

Hello all,

I have a windows vista Business edition on a vaio laptop and the device does a standby by its own WHILE I am working on the device.

Any Idea.

I checked the settings in the power options and no prove of anything wrong in there.

ANy help is really appreciated....

Would you possibly have any shortcut keys to make it go into standby? I know you said you checked the power settings, but is the option to automatically go into standby when battery power is low on? I know this is in XP, but not so sure on Vista, as I have not used it yet.

I would have to agree. Some laptops have that sleep button located in a bad spot. Are you sure you are not hitting such a button?

Yes kinda of, I am used to the laptop and didn't face these problem except recently..
