"That big of a deal" is more of personal preference that only you can decide.
I enjoy watching movies but i dont need an HDTV to enjoy them but at the same time a black a white TV is not suitable either. So you pick a middle ground that works for you with any piece of hardware.
So if it makes no difference to you, take the posters advice above and sell it and buy a round of drinks lol.
