i'm connected to the wireless network but for some reason my network utilization is about 1% of the 24Mbps speed even tho it says my connection is excellent and i'm suppose to get 24Mbps. so it doesn't matter what i'm downloading, or how many things i'm downloading, i'm overall only getting about 20 kilo bytes a sec. any suggestions to improve the speed? greatly appreciate it.

move your PC/laptop closer to the router.
Make sure the antenna is not obstructed.
