First, I don't know if I posted this in the right category or not. Doesn't seem to fit any of the other ones.
On to the problem. I've been trying to use my new headset on Skype when chatting with friends. If I plug the headset into the front jacks on my computer, only the mic works and the sound comes from the speakers. If I plug my headset into my speaker's jacks, the headphones work but the mic doesn't. This only happens on Skype; when I'm gaming, both work fine. I had to add a crappy mic I found in my basement to my computer since I don't really want to switch headphones.
