shud i change my cpu/ mobo?

hey everyone,

i have a p4 3.2 ghz HT prossesor and a abit vt7 motherboard do u guys think i shud change my prossesor to a amd 64 bit +3500??

NO, my brother has P4 3 ghz/ 2 gig ram/6800GT, and it runs D3 and HL2 without a hitch....having said that, I'm a fan of AMD's right now, and any of the AMD 939 3000/3200/3500 are the ideal gaming chips.

One could buy a AMD 3000 now, and upgrade it to a 4400 I meg cache later on, that would be a strong upgrade path, whereas going from 3500 to 4400 isn't as great.

Ouchh....you need a 9800pro/6600gt, whatever is the best price.
I assume you have a gig of ram?

I wouldn't do it, there's not a lot of room for a huge improvement... a little better with gaming.

No way, don't bother upgrading yet. Wait until you can get a big ol performance boost out of it before you upgrade. And when you do upgrade, send me your current pc
