Setting Up My Own FTP

i have about 10gb in MP3s and i want to share them with freinds of mine, so i need to set up some kind of FTP access on my computer, could anyone tell me how to do this or give me a guide, i aint a n00b on computers, but i am in this subjects

also i got a router shaiiring internet between 3 pcs, so i need to configure that too,, its a netgear

Use an Apache file server. You can download Apache for free at www.apache.org .

yep.i also recommend www.file share...your friends can download your files only to know your ip(input your ip in ie.then it works)..and they donn't need to install any software...

instead of whining about the lack of help, do yourself a favor and google what you want to know. the internet is a vast resource of information, maybe it's time to use your connection for more than just illegally downloading music.
