I went to fix someone's laptop at one point, there was an issue relating to the sound, it was all morphed to ****. After trying to figure out what was going on software-wise I figured the sound card had failed (which happened to be built in).
Well it just happens that just three days ago I went to fix someone's computer, after fixing three problems, they then asked me about the sound. I said that I had this problem before and it was most likely the equalizer. After messing with numerous software-related issues to figure this out, it came to be it was NOT the software. This soundcard too was built into the computer. The following day I returned with a soundcard and the driver. I plugged it in, installed the driver, sweet, it worked perfectly.
So, I want to know who else has experienced this problem before I begin to discourage anyone from buying computers containing any form of Realtek hardware.
