Do you think it will be noticeably slower if I run Windows 7 on a hard drive that is connected to a PCI SATA controller card? This is just temporary. I just really want to use Windows 7 now. I plan on moving the hard drive to one of the native SATA ports later....because I ordered stuff and it won't arrive until next week, and I didn't feel like opening my computer up at this moment.

I'm using the dual boot on two OS/two HDDs method btw. XP on my main HDD and Windows 7 the HDD connected via PCI.

It won't go any slower, really - PCI can do about 100MB/s, you might notice it going a little slow but nothing major.
