Routerlogin on Wireless networks

Hi all,

Tried to search for this in the forum to see if this had been asked before with no luck.

I've just tried to install an old wireless modem on a new computer. All went fine until coming to set up the network. logged onto routerlogin.net and it asked me for a username and password which, according to the manual is "admin" and "password".

This doesn't work and brought up a 404 no authorisation message. How can i reset this?

Usually theres a reset "hole" and you insert a pin and hold.

Also you can try the actual ip of the router, it'll be like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1

To elaborate on what paton suggested... You need to do a hard reset to reset the device to its defaults. Plug just the power in, hold the reset button for about 30 seconds to a minute, release, unplug the router from power again, and then plug it back in. Should be reset to defaults now.
