Ive just built a computer and Im running Vista Home Premium x64. Recently ive noticed that after entering my user, the hard drive goes flat out for about a minute. In the resource monitor it shows that that the pagefile.sys is what is in use.
I'm not sure whether this is normal, but with 4gb of ram i dont see why the system needs to use so much virtual memory!
If anyone else finds this normal then i would feel alot better!
Otherwise, does anybody any theorys on this?
