Restricted access?!

Hi all,

Here at home I am on a network with two other computer. my dads and my brothers. We are all linked via a router.

However, for some reason, while I can access their shared files and they can access eachothers, no-one can access mine. It keeps coming up saying 'you do not have sufficient network privilages, please consult your network admin' or something to that effect.

I have xp, as do they, and I set up alot of networks at work and for friends, I just don't get it...

Do you use simple file sharing ?
If you reset the permissions on your folders to "modify" ( using simple file sharing) does it work then ?

If you turn off your simple file sharing, set the everyone group to full access.

Hey
First check that on all computers the guest account is set to active.
After doing so try to access your computer from one of the
other computer by using the windows explorer. Tye in the
address bar : \\ComputerName\ShareName\
This should work.
