Resident Evil 4 Jumpy

Hi people,

I recently aquired resident evil 4 for the pc and tried running it in windows 7 but this was pixelated and horrible. So i installed a Dual Boot of XP and 7 because i heard this runs great on XP.

However the Game is jumpy but not because of the GFX card, Its nothing to do with rendering or such but it jumps and stuttersat random intervals, Ive tried everyting i can think of but to no avail.

Could anyone here help at all? Thanks

Patched to newest version? GPU drivers up to date from the website? Does it do it with any other games, or just RE4?

Sorry for the long awaited reply ive not been on my xp dual boot for a few days.

Its only with resident evil 4, All the game and GFX drivers / patches are up to date but its still happening. Ive read simila things about this but found no resolution.

Hey Collins,

Try Some Basic Step like ... video card and sound card drivers update....check if the there any game updates and patches....Try Clean boot ie (Msconfig) and remove unneccesary programs at the start up..Clean Temp file...

Launch the game and check....
