Redesigned Mac Mini

Um... it says it uses 10W's... but then goes on to say its down from 110W to 85W..

But read the Power Management quote:
Advanced power management.
Mac mini is a great example of Apple's energy-efficient design philosophy. It uses less than 10 watts of power when idle — a 25 percent reduction from the previous generation. That's something no other desktop computer can do.2

And unlike a lot of Windows-based PC systems, Mac mini uses energy-efficient hardware components that work hand in hand with the operating system to conserve power. Mac OS X spins down hard drives and activates sleep mode after a period of inactivity. It balances tasks across both central and graphics processors. Mac OS X never misses a power-saving opportunity, no matter how small. It even regulates the processor between keystrokes, reducing power between the letters you type. That's just one of many ways Apple manages small amounts of power that add up to big savings.

Actually, its only 85 on use.... but their speal is it has all theses power saving systems, like its special, but its the same features in a pc that size.

Its like Mac has made up these super systems to reduce power... And who types so slow that the keyboard can power down in between strokes?

^It uses 10W when its idle, when its in use it uses 110W-85W.

Close. The last generation mac minis used 110W, this one apparently will use 85W.
Which is exactly what the mac minis from two generations ago used, so I'm not exactly blown away :p still good tho.

Terrible.

Same crummy parts as before. Looks like the only thing they redesigned was the price.

Have you looked at it? Its nearly half as big, has a completely different GPU uses less power etc. It may still have a C2D but the core i series hasn't been working out too well with other apple products.
