Re-installing Windows XP Professional and keeps going back to the Start Up screen

Well if primary and secondary is disabled, to me it sound's like both your hard drives are disabled ; which might cause it not to boot after the CD. Wait for more replies before continuing, I really don't want to be the cause of any screw up .

Well, setting my CD rom as my first boot option didn't work either.......just started the same process again........startup screen and loading the start up files into installation folder
