PS3 Redesign?

The Gadget website T3 is claiming that the PS3 is being redesigned. Sony won't comment on the rumors but the concept pictures of the supposed redesign just don't make sense to those of us that have had our PS3s apart. If it does get a redesign, it isn't going to look like this any time soon:
According to a particularly well-informed insider, it seems that the Big S is prepping an all new PlayStation 3. The new incarnation is supposedly slimmer, lighter weight, and sexy as ****.
