proxy is annoying me

My school has a proxy thing that wont let you go to certain sites. The program is called Cornerpost Chaperon. I have done a lot of work on my user account and have set myself to admin but i cant find a way to get around the proxy crap. Anybody know how? I would really love to check gamefaqs durring the school day haha!
