Problem Accessing Web Pages with Zone Alarm Firewall

I have Sky broadband and was connected fine but now everytime I try to load an internet web browser I get 'page cannot be displayed'. I tried disabling Zone Alarm and it worked fine, so I tried re-installing Zone Alarm and sky software but still get the same problem.

What setting s should I be changing in Zone Alarm to amke this work? I tried looking for sky in the listed programs but it wasn't there... IE is allowed.

Hello,

Make sure that in Zone Alarm that you have the browser you are trying to use to have access. It could also be the privacy settings.

Thanks - I am using IE which is in ZA and allowed. Should my sky connection be in Internet Zon or Trusted Zone? I have it in the Internet Zone...

Settings are:


PRIVACY
I have cookie control off, add blocking off.

FIREWALL
Internet Zone Security= High
Trusted Zone Security = Medium

I have tried changing these but still can't get i to work. The only way is to disable the firewall but I don't really want to make do with the Windows Firewall.

Still can't get it to work. Tried completely unisnstalling and re-installing zone alarm but still have the same problem.

Maybe I should try a new firewall. Can anyon reccommend a good one?

Try Comodo. It is a great and free firewall. Comes highly recommended. Can also check the thread we have started about this as well.
