After talking to my bro-in-law who is a programmer and BIG TIME gamer, I've decided to go with a fast dual core processor over a quad b/c he said 95% of software can't use quad anyway.
Please give me your thoughts on the compatibility of this setup, specifically, if anything seems like a bottle neck or overkill related to each other. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
Use: casual gaming (For the PC, I like mostly RPG games such as Oblivion), internet, home office with the ability to get a 2nd GTX 280 vid card in the future
