Photoshop CS Will Only Save As .PSD

have you tried reinstalling PS CS?

No, I haven't tried that yet. I want to see if there's another fix for this before I go installing Photoshop again. It's not exactly an easy task to reinstall a program as big as PS on a Pentium MMX 166MHz computer.

Now, that *I* could try cause I just reformated, thanks to upgrading to my slipstreamed disk of pro & sp2. I haven't treinstalled about 90% of what I use and that's one of them. If I do and I can fix it that way, I'll let you know, ok? Liz

OK, never mind! Problem fixed! Apparently, Adobe PS will not allow you to save a file with the filename "filename.psd" and "filename.jpg" in the same directory. Hmm...thanks for the help guys
