Comes down to what you want.

SOF2H -- Fast pace in your face action
Flashpoint -- It's more tatical. I do remember there is parts where you need to wait a long time for a objective to come into range.

i played sof 2 a lot
thought the graphics were fairly impressive for the time, nice story line and blood violence was pretty nice.

online used to have a fair amount of people, but that was years ago

never played flashpoint

SOF2 lots more fun single player..
Operation flashpoint is very good Multiplayer (better value for money).
