switch. I'm gonna hunt you down.

Spent the ENTIRE day at the airshow yesterday in cleveland. 10 Minutes before the thunderbirds started, it DOWN POURS. I had to walk a mile back to the car in pouring rain thinking about how I just wasted 6.5 hours waiting for those jets. Now, i get to sit in my office listening to them take off and leave at the nearby airport.

Not a single good shot.
THAT SUCKS. Been there before, years ago went to an Airshow in Klamath Falls and it was raining the whole time. I got a MEAN sunburn though from this one, Im still peeling a little from it, and it was in late august!

Yup yup, that's it :)

I rented the Nikon 300mm f/4 AF-S from Pro Photo. $35 thursday night through monday morning.

I'm pretty happy with it, wish I was able to get the 80-400 or 400 2.8 though, could have helped alot.

You can see the rest of the pictures here:

Really like the second one. She did a really good job on the DOF there, f/1.8 for the win.

I'm really feeling the limitations of this 18-55mm, I really need to save up for something else. Next on my list is some sort of nice telephoto and the 50mm f/1.8, who knows when I'll have the money though.

Got some new shots, here's one of Andi.

50mm for the win!

They're on craigslist all the time for $70-80

I forgot to mention...

My camera got soaked. Yes, it was in a camera bag. The camera bag was soaked. Had to let camera dry for two weeks before I wasn't as terrified to turn it on.

A good camera bag should, at the very least, be water resistant and ideally rainproof.

Sorry... let me rephrase.

Lake Erie levitated up out of the lake bed and fell onto Cleveland.

There was no such thing has "waterproof" at that moment.
