I was having some probs running D3 on my laptop, which meets and exceeds all of the specs to run the game.... the problem turned out to be the ATI Mobility Drivers. If you are running this game on your laptop with ATI 9700 Mobility Drivers, and the game freezes about 2 minutes in... switch to the Omega Drivers.

The game is running faster, smoother and with absolutly no lag on Ultra Mode.... YAY!

im gonna be buying it REAL soon but the system i have is

AMD Athlon 1800+
40gb harddrive
geforce nvidia mx440 64mb (im upgrading to a WAY BETTER!!)

oh and a question is it hard to install video cards?

runs basically flawlessly on 640 with medium quality after i unpacked the cabinets in the doom 3 directory.
havent tried new drivers yet.
