Norton Problems

I recently downloaded iTunes 5.0, and Norton Internet Security 2005 will not let me open the program. I have tried to open itunes wtih norton diabled and the program runs fine. So, is there anyway to have norton just "look over" itunes.

By the way, when itunes starts, norton asks me whether I want to allow connections on that port. I have tried allowing connections, not allowing, and manually configuring. None of them work. So basically, the only way I can think of to fix this problem is to have Norton operating while not scanning/monitoring itunes.

look in blocked programs...or unless its called something else i dont use norton internet securit

ya, I could see how norton is a problem.

Believe me when I say it probably causes more problems then it solves.

Norton is a problem. Besides that id also say itunes isn't the greatest....

yea....norton crashed my computer a few times before (trials) so i got rid of it....as for itunes...can't help you there, not an apple fan either.

Leave norton, it causes more than it is worth. Download AVG free.
