Hey all,
So I bought a Samsung 750GB 7200 32mb Cache SATAII HDD, I think the code was HD753LJ, chucked it in my comp, formatted it, worked fine, hoo rah! Put around 300gb of files that I really wanted to keep on it (lol), and was real pleased with my purchase.
Turned off the comp last night, turned on today, BAM! Where is my F: drive... Go to CMOS, ... no drive detected... awesome.
Changed SATA cable, power, used those cables on my main HDD to check if they were problem, nope, they work fine, my HDD however still is dead and not responding in BIOS or windows.
Sweeeeet. So any suggestions?
Some comp specs if that will help:
Vista Ultimate x64
320gb WD HDD (i think it is WD) for main HDD, windows etc
ASUS P5B Mobo
Any clues? I r scared.
