New Hardware problem (knew this would happen, HELP!)

I wouldn't reformat yet.
Restart the computer and press F12. I've got a DELL 8300 and there is a special BOOT SEQUENCE utility. I've had problems in the past where my BIOS & this BOOT UTILITY had two different HDD's as FIRST BOOT.

(POWER OFF) Also, there is a 3 pin jump on all DELL mobos, it's right near the system battery. Locate it, (THIS IS THE CMOS JUMPER) Put the jumper in the CMOS clear position for about 2-3 minutes. Put it back to Normal, RESTART.

I have found that jumper, and was wondering if that was what it was, but when you say "put in CMOS clear position" which is that? Just put it on the middle pin, and the pin across that it wasn't on?
I kind of skipped through the setup, and didn't let it do its thing while installing SP2, so I'm pretty sure I did mess it up. Any how, please tell me more if you can as soon as possible Havoc, otherwise I am going to get cracking to re-install...

Thanks a lot, that was really helpful.
