With Christmas coming up,presents to return and driveways to shovel, I'l have a little bit of extra cash in my pocket so I'm thinking about a new upgrade. I don't want to do a major upgrade like a whole new mobo or cpu. Whaty should I get?
I could get a new cpu: 3.2GHz w/ 1MB cache 800MHz fsb and HT for 218$ here: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-116-172&depa=1
OR
I could get an Nvidia 6600GT 128MB DDR3 500/1000MHZ for 225$ here: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=14-150-080&depa=1
I'm trying to get the upgrade that will get me the best fps difference. I think it would be the vidcard.
If you suggest anything else please let me know. My budget is 250$
