We've been trying to get our heads around a problem on a small network. With one exception, Internet access runs smoothly throughout the whole network. However, on one machine the email program (Eudora) has a problem. It runs fine for a certain period of time, and then it hangs, right when it says it's trying to connect to the mail-server. The program doesn't freeze. It just hangs trying to connect to the mail-server. Everything else is operable. The exact same version of Eudora works without a hitch on all the other workstations on the network. And even on that computer web access and other Internet services remain unimpaired. At first, we thought this was some bug in the Eudora program. But every email client seems to do precisely the same thing on this one computer. The only way to 'fix' the problem is to reboot the machine. And then problem recurs soon after. Has anyone seen something like this before? Josh
