Netgear DG834 IP Address changing

Sorry about this Lorithad. Just done every thing you said but in the lan side ethernet settings page when I enter 192.168.0.2 then press apply I get the following message:-

ERROR: LAN Side IP Address
description: IP Address in the WAN side network address range cannot be used.

Not sure what to do next ???. Hope you can advise me on this. Many Thanks

Ok...That's quite strange. It should be able to, as I've done it many, many times. Although, granted, I've never done it on a buffalo airstation.

However, that manual you posted, helped immensly.

It appears that this airstation of yours has a switch on the bottom of it that changes the airstation to an access point. Which is essentially what we want it to do. Change the switch at the bottom from AUTO to BRI. (found on page 14 of the user manual)

Once that's done, make sure that you don't have the cable coming from the netgear router going to the WAN port of the airstation (very important). Then renew your IP on your computer.
