I bought a HP Presario DV6-2155dx. It came with Windows 7 pre-installed. It is going to be used as a computer at work, and IT support says that in order for the programs that we currently run at our plant, it has to have XP installed. Is there a way for this to happen. He says he can install XP, but doesn't think the drivers will work.

Okay now ask your IT guys if they even bothered to check and see if the software was compatible with Win7, using XP Mode or compatibility mode. Soemthing tells me i highly doubt he even bothered to check. He just knows you run XP in office now and doesnt want to do more work to see if he can get it working.
