need a router

I'd like to get set up for wireless in my house. Our desktop is an Imac and my laptop is a Dell inspiron 1721. We've got pretty thick walls in the house, do you think I'll need a booster? If so, what kind? thanks

I'm sure that you would love a "shout out" of all of these different makes and models, but a little more information is needed. Specifically, what type of budget are you working with?

I don't want anything to extravagant. Under $100 total if possible. If not possible then I'm flexible. I'd rather get something that works well rather than a piece of crap just because it's cheaper.

How thick are the wall? What material are they? Concrete? Steel?

As for the router: I'd say Linksys WRT54GL

Pretty thick, don't know for sure, but it's cement block.
