I am looking for a laptop in the 700-800 dollar price range.
A backlit keyboard would be great. A good graphics cards and fast i3 or i5 processor. Good speakers would be a plus. Decent battery life and nothing clunky or stupid looking.

Thanks a bunch

HP dv6t SE customized. After discounts it'd be around $900.

I was also thinking about the dm4t.. any suggestions?

Do NOT get Norton. Had way too many problems getting that resource hog off the computers. Also, do not get the DV6 series. Yes it may work, but it is known to break after warranty ends.

Anyone else? I haven't read that they are known to break after warranty ends anywhere.
