NAT Problem

Ok, when I'm playing dawn of war II, it sometimes gives me nat registration errors when I try to join a friend's game or that friend tries to invite me. If we join someone else's host, shortly after the game starts it will disconnect us from the game and we will be playing with computers. This NAT error doesn't occur all the time, only sometimes. I have no idea why this would happen. I have WRT54G, and I forwarded all the ports necessary for steam and the game.

Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: I've heard that this router has an inflexible NAT and is bad for xboxlive. This game uses windows live, but I don't think my brothers have had any problems with xbox live unless they have, and just haven't told me because they don't understand what is going on. Is there a workaround for this?

I'm pretty sure I got the latest firmware, 4.21.

Sorry, I didn't mean nat registration errors. I fixed it. It says nat negotiation error. There is no error code or anything. It just says Nat negotiation error then can't connect or something.

Just for reference, I guess you already fixed it.

When I last had a WRT54G I found out that it's NAT is permanently set to something like "Medium" and cannot be changed. Setting NAT filters for a home network is just overkill.

I didn't fix it. I fixed my post. I'll have a look at that though.
