multiple issues

Ok, where to begin.. I just did Osiris's spyware guide(which is great) a few weeks ago and created a restore point. The other night i was online then started getting pop-ups galore and what i thought was the antivirus 2009 that i had a couple weeks ago. I tried to do a system restore but viruses always seem to delete my restore points.I ran the Malware bytes program and that got rid of like 20 things, then i did the cleanup, and CCleaner. and rebooted. Now I keep getting these error prompts that say " Services.exe-Bad Image. The application or DLL Cathname\brcyhb.dll is not a valid windows image. please check this against your installation diskette. Then i get about 10 more upon startup that are for lsass.exe, userinit.exe, explorer.exe, and so on that are the same message as above. When i click on firefox it does one for that then it opens fine. The Trojan remover startup scan is finding a "trashed.file" and I can't get AVG to open at all. Trend Micro hasn't found much and i can't get msconfig to open as well. Any ideas on this would be fantastic.

Ok so i got Trojan remover to run and it got rid of all the .exe bad image prompts popping up, however, still can't get avg to startup or msconfig

I still can't get into msconfig and avg won't run, i guess i should just reinstall avg. just trying to get around that if possible. Do you advise disabling the internet when not in use to prevent viruses, or do you think it really matters?

Try reinstalling it and then let me know what happens
