Exactly. Even though im not 50.

You don't have to be 50 to have your eyes be in pain from an ugly skin...image everything that's blue right now if it were a bright yellow...that'd be painful on the eyes....now you may think "who'd be dumb enough to do that" but hell I've seen it on pages before...don't know how some people think freakin bright yellow on white looks good.

I dont sit close enough to my monitor for it to hurt my eyes. So i gues bright yellow wouldnt bother me that much, id just get annoyed of the color.
