idk how much info to give since this is work related, they're on a server, they all use xp pro machines wit 2gb of ram, logging onto server no prob but to start the Great Plains program itself takes like 3-4 mins, is there a way to make it go faster?

No. Since it is running off the server there is no way to make it load faster on the client machines. I would wager to guess that the server is trying to load it on several machines at once, and then again on several more as the program is not being called all at the same time to all the machines at once.

So the server has to process each request and then fill it.
