Well I think I've finally figured out the problem. I got some new ram and after testing different ram configurations I've determined one of my old sticks of 512 is having trouble working with other ram. I don't know why but it runs fine as the only ram stick in there but when paired with another identical or different stick it has a a ton of errors. I'm still doing a few more test runs to try and see if both of my old sticks of ram are like this or just one of them.
