When I was a kid we played outside.
and this...

Doom II is the first game I ever remember playing, though I was aweful as it cos I just didn't 'get' isometric (don't ask why, I dunno :p). Then The Sims and Theme Hospital were the first games I ever played properly, followed by Age of Empires. I won my first game on Civ II on Emperor (or w/e comes before Deity) when I was either 5 or 6, and have never done any better on any of them so presumably I was very lucky.

oh man, i forgot pokemon blue. That one was important.

Yes it was huh.. I played hours and hours of that game until I am suspecting my cousin stole it. (He always wanted to play and it mysteriously went missing after he left.. HMMMM.

Pokemon blue! I haven't thought of that chunk of my life in years and years. My mom was always worried during that time because I didn't go outside for about a whole year. I think she thought I was depressed. Anyone play Zelda? My second favorite alternate reality. I think I'm going to dig it out of the garage right now.
